The band has a new web site and if you’re reading this then you’re already there. It’s WordPress based with a theme heavily modified to suit the purpose of the site and hopefully the style and colours of the band. This should make it much easier to keep the site up to date as content can now be added by different band members as appropriate.
If you have any questions about the web site please email me or any of the band members listed on the Contact page.

Yesterday the band played for 3 hours in the market square. For an hour or so we were joined by some local church choirs. Later in the evening, as is now traditional, we played for the Beechingstoke carol singing and then at the Manor house afterwards.
A little of both events were captured on video…
First we have the morning in the Market Square…
Next we have carol singing in St. Stephen church, Beechingstoke…

Another sell out concert for the band. Standing room only and a great success for the appeal.

Last night a full house enjoyed a celebration of Englishness in the Town Hall, courtesy of Devizes Town Band under Musical Director John Blaker. It really was an excellent evening and is sure to mark the start of an annual event. The idea came from a conversation I had with Kelvin Nash in the Southgate when we’d just watched the Last Night of the Proms. I said how much I loved stirring tunes such as ‘Jerusalem’ and a good old sing-song. At the next meeting of the band, suggestions were sought for events, up popped Kelvin’s hand and the rest, as they say, is history.
